Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee daily operations for an assigned portfolio of approximately 25 vessels within our larger managed fleet. This role involves managing two dedicated wash teams, coordinating with other departments, and acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal service personnel. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a working knowledge of the marine industry, and a passion for delivering high-touch, reliable service to yacht owners and their crews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the scheduling, servicing, and upkeep of a fleet of 25 vessels under management
• Lead and support two dedicated wash/detail teams to ensure timely and high-quality regular service
• Maintain direct communication with vessel owners and other departments to understand service expectations and evolving needs
• Translate client requests into actionable tasks for the operations and service teams
• Monitor service timelines, coordinate vendor and subcontractor activity amongst the departments, and track task completion
• Conduct routine quality checks and vessel walk-throughs to ensure standards are upheld
• Maintain detailed checklists and reporting through internal systems
• Collaborate with the leadership team to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years marine detailing experience. Preferred 1-3 years marine crew experience
• Strong knowledge of yacht systems, marine service protocols, or similar technical environments
• Proven ability to lead service teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interfacing with clients and internal teams
• Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
