About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Marine Polish Specialist to join our growing service team. This role requires hands-on expertise in polishing and restoring boat surfaces, including gel coat, paint, and metal. You will be responsible for achieving a high-gloss, professional finish on a wide variety of vessels ranging from center consoles to luxury yachts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform marine polishing, compounding, and waxing on hulls, topsides, and brightwork
• Restore oxidation, water spots, and surface damage using professional-grade tools and products
• Evaluate surface conditions and recommend appropriate polishing techniques and products
• Maintain detailing equipment and manage inventory of polishing supplies
• Ensure every job meets quality and aesthetic standards
• Work alongside detailing crews, service techs, and management to meet project timelines
• Maintain cleanliness and care of work environment aboard vessels and dockside

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience polishing boats or yachts
• Deep knowledge of polishing compounds, buffers, and finishing tools
• Experience working with gel coat, fiberglass, and marine-grade surfaces
• Ability to work in outdoor marine environments (heat, sun, dock settings)
• Physical ability to perform polishing tasks on various hull shapes and heights
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards
